Work in Progress-MacKenleigh


I am starting this portrait with an underpainting in
Colored Pencil. The surface is U Art. This is a new
technique I learned from Toni James at a workshop
a couple of weeks ago. This is my first project using
this technique. I will keep you posted on the results.
I am really enjoying it so far.

Life at the Top by Patty A. Sykes


"Life at the Top" was accepted in Wings, Tails and Scales,
(a juried exhibiton) which is An Art Exhibition Celebrating
Animals,held in conjunction with The Midwest Veterinary
Conference held at the Greater Columbus Convention
Center February 25-28, 2010.
The inspiration came from "The Wilds" and it is an orginal
colored pencil on a 9x12 pastel board.
